Other garden writers are waxing rhapsodic about the “first I,: blooms of spring, pushing up their Lil tiny foliage from the heart of Mother Earth to bask in the first rays of the sun’s warmth.” Yuk. The Gorilla Gardener’s view is that it’s high time they get their little buds in gear and bloom so I can remember what I planted where. Can the rhapsody.
We have a lot of work to do to win this final garden battle of the millenium. The year 1998 was tough on the garden, horticulture’s version of handto-hand combat. Winning will require Gorilla warfare.
