Mrs. Walters was born in Washington on March 1, 1935, daughter of Haywood* Foster and Millibird Woodard.
She was a member of Front Royal Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Walters is survived by four sons, Howard E. Walters Jr. of Front Royal, Milton David Walters of Clarksville, Ind., Donald R. Walters of Winchester and Patrick W. Walters of California; two daughters, Hildh Mauck of Front Royal and Debra K. Mayes of Fort Worth, Texas; six grandchildren and one great grandson.
Pallbearers were Angie Walters, Brian Walters, Trade Mauck, and Kimberly Reams.
Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.
