The annual Miss Rappahannock Pageant sponsored by the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad will be held on Saturday, April 24 at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Elementary School.

The rehearsal will be on Tuesday, April 20 at RCES at 6 p.m. For additional information call Debbie Fantaci at 987-3354 or Harriet Kindall at 987-1211.

The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary is pleased to announce they will host a swap/trade/and/or sell event on March 27 at the Rescue Squad Building on Main Street in Sperryville. The community is encouraged to support this endeavor.

The Sperryville United Methodist Church will have worship service at 11:15 a.m. on March 21. Rev. Merlin Shorb invites the community.

The Sperryville Historic Committee has plaques for properties in the Historic District. There are a total of 78 properties included in the Historic District. Anyone who would like a plaque should contact Barbara Williams at 987-8384.

The annual Ben Venue Kite Fly has been scheduled for April 17. Heidi Eastham is once again organizing the event and volunteers are needed. Organizations wishing to set up or participate at the event should contact Heidi at 675-3444.
