I realize it has been more that a fortnight since the local elections in which I won a seat on the School Board, and the fact that I have not publicly thanked my supporters is not due to any inattention, but rather because I have been busy thanking as many of them as I could personally...ie, in person, by phone, and by mail.
Now that that phase is over, I come to this medium the news. My supporters (in addition to voters, to which I am extremely grateful), are in several categories, those who helped to collect signatures on qualifying petitions, those who made financial contributions both in my district and throughout Rappahannock County, those who permitted me to place signs on their property, those who helped me at the polls, and those who gave me much needed moral support. There could have been no winning without all of the above. For this, I thank you very much!
Now that all of this is behind me, I must now embark upon the job at hand, the job that was entrusted to me by the voters,
