But opposition came from neighbors, particularly James and Virginia Botsford who own three properties directly across from the Dyer’s property.
Mr. Botsford said that his residence would be most affected by the noise and more people coming and going. The concern was that the separate apartment would be rented out or used for commercial use.
About a dozen residents from the Peyton Farms subdivision attended the meeting to support Botsford’s opposition.
