• Mr. Carlos Lopez, RCHS Spanish teacher, reports that his students have participated in a variety of projects related to Spanish language and cul1 ture so far this year. Projects are graded based on content, creativity and presentation. Among the projects presented were: Spanish recipes, Spanish poems,, pinatas, mosaics, Spanish songs and dances, and reports on cities and countries around the world.
• Berkeley Hobson placed 14th individually in the Girls’ Cross Country Competition which qualified her for the State Tournament on Nov. 13.
• The RCHS Senior Class is selling Joe Corbi’s pizza to help raise funds for their senior trip. All orders and money must be collected by Dec. 2. • Mrs. Sharon Sielski, Learning Support teacher at RCHS, is happy to report thal RCHS has received a new Kurzwell Reader, which is a computer that can scan materials and read it to students who have reading disabilities. This will not only help students with comprehension, it will also assist with vocabulary, study skills and over-all computer skills.
