• On Nov. 9 and 10 a four member committee visited RCHS to examine their two year school improvement process that was completed in May. The visiting committee had many positive comments about our faculty and our students. The result of the visit? RCHS is recommended for continued accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools! Congratulations to our students and staff for a job well dore. • Mrs. Joanne Tracy, seventh grade teacher at RCES, arranged a very special outing for 15 students to Dominion Semiconductor Plant in Manassas on Nov. 2. Students were introduced to the sophisticated technology of the semiconductor world. The students had to wear lab coats, head coverings and masks, so as not to contaminate the areas that they visited.
They were introduced to extremely high-powered microscopes used to manufacture microchips. Upon their return to school all students
