Home: Sperryville Occupation: CNA at Warrenton Overlook Accomplishments: Stacy Atkins is a 1997 of Rappahannock County High School and currently works as a CNA at Warrenton Overlook, where she has been employed for over a year. Quite often she works double shifts at the center and because she is so quick and cheerful she has earned the name of “Grasshopper." She thoroughly enjoys her work there. Stacy is also a past volunteer with the Sperryville Rescue Squad and attends Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill. She loves cats and has six of her own. She is also an avid reader. PTO silent auction
The Rappahannock County Elementary School has an active and fun-filled PTO spearheaded by Jimmy Swindler, its president. One of the upcoming fund raisers that the entire community would enjoy is the Gift Basket Silent Auction. Each of the grades at school has chosen a theme for their class, 1 and the parents have been asked > to' donate items to put into baskets to fit the theme. The K-7 * classes have chosen a theme for their class, and the parents have chosen the following themes in . ascending order: A Treat for Mom, Arts & Crafts, Tea Time, Sweet Tooth, Apples, Rainy Day, Couch Potato and Gardening. The more items donated, the ’ • more baskets will be assembly. * The gift baskets will be on display In the front lobby weekdays through Dec. 6. Stop by the main office for location of baskets.
