...and continues to be in Historic Old Town Warrenton Beginning on Friday evening, Dec. 3 with the magical festival of lights and arrival of Santa by horse drawn carriage, to the timeless window displays and street decorations. Christmas in Historic Old Town is a childhood fantasy. Community caroling, charming shops, inviting restaurants, and a calendar of holiday events add to the riches enjoyed when you visit with us in Old Town Warrenton. New Years Eve - First Night Warrenton

Enjoy an alcohol free family celebration to welcome the New Year. Old Town Warrenton will open its doors on Friday, December 31 from 6 p.m. until midnight for a variety of high quality performances for the whole family, including: classical music, childrens shows, square dancing, folk music, rock and roll, jazz, swing and much more. The entertainment will be presented inside the lobbies and larger rooms of downtown churches and public buildings - all within easy walking distance of one another. The celebration will end with a candlelight gathering at the Old Courthouse steps to sing in the New Year or transportation will be provided to the free fireworks at Great Meadows. Admission to First Night Warrenton is $8.00 per person and $2.00 for children, ages 612. Advance tickets are available for $6.00 per person and $1.00 for children.
