You may recognize this Santa for more than his signature red garb, because Loudoun’s first mall Santa will be played by Rip Mann, well-known as the Santa at Tyson’s Galleria mall for the past seven years. A couple of years ago, a metropolitan newspaper even rated Mann as the best Santa in the region.
Part of his authenticity is his appearance, including a genuine white beard that’s all his own. “I spend the rest of the year trying to downplay it,” Mann says modestly, ^because the children are always saying, There’s Santa
