• See a musical. Anyone who brings a toy to one of Fauquier Community Theatre’s performances of “Babes in Toyland” gets a 50 percent discount off an adult admission — a $6 savings. The toys will be donated to residents of the Fauquier Family Shelter. Show dates are weekends between Nov. 27 and Dec. 12. The phone number for FCT is 349-8760.
• Show that they’re not forgotten by sending gifts to residents of the Oak Springs of Warrenton Comprehensive Care Facility (347-4770). Suitable items include warm socks; stainedglass sun catchers to decorate windows; bird feeders and soothing soundgenerating machines and tapes.
