Two of the games, Sonic Adventure and Soul Caliber, are current darlings of the gaming press. Both are said to be perhaps the best-looking games ever made for a video game console and loads of fun to boot.

At $40-$60 each, games for the system are competitively priced. The system itself costs about $200, twice the price of N64 and PlayStation. Sega has yet to hint when consumers can expect the first price drop.
