“You get a turkey in the woods first. You have to clean it with water and cut off the feathers. You also have to get rid of the eyes. Put it in a big pan, nothing goes on it but salt. When it goes in the oven, put it on “hot” degrees. Cook it for about five or six hours. When it’s done, eat it with pumpkin pie. It’s good. If you want to, sometimes you eat chicken too. After we eat, I watch TV.”

“You have to get a turkey from Walmart. You do have to clean it with a puffy, scrubby thing under the water. Mom cuts it up before it goes in the pven. Put it on a metal thing (I khink it’s like a pan). Cook it on like seven degrees for like a couple of seconds. Then, we eat with forks, knives and spoons. We also eat cranberry pieces with it. When you’re done, put your dishes in the kitchen and someone washes them (I think mom, probably). I like Thanksgiving because we go to our friends’ house. ”
