Women’s sizes have no relation to anything. Your wife is a size six. Six what? Inches? Feet? Meters? Who knows? Nobody!
And then, even if you could figure out what that meant, it’s different for different manufacturers. Size six for Eigner is not the same as size six for Cardin or Givanchy.
Still, you have to find out her size, and to do that, it’s best to ask.
