Candlelight

The Culpeper Piedmont Choral Society proudly presents its 1999 Christmas Candlelight concerts. Joining together to welcome the holiday season are singers from Culpeper, Madison, Orange, Fauquier, Rappahannock and Fairfax Counties.
Two concerts are being presented for your enjoyment this season.
The first concert will be held on Friday, Dec. 3, at 8 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9151 Ely’s Ford Road (Route 610 in the Chancellorsville Battlefield area), Fredericksburg.
The setting for the second concert is Precious Blood Catholic Church on Edmondson Street in Culpeper on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 3 p.m. The concerts this year are being dedicated to the memory of Wayne Bowman, a loyal member of the society, who passed away earlier this year.
Under the direction of Arthur Palmer of Warrenton and accompanied by Helen Dill of Amissville, the Choral Society will present “A Festival of Carols”. The program consists of familiar carols and promises to be very enjoydble and entertaining. The performance will close with a carol sing-a-long with the audience.
As always, these concerts are free and open to the public.
