Excitement, anticipation, determined preparations, infectious enthusiasm, unbridled optimism! Combine that with an occasional glassed-over look during meetings, the race to take care of the ever mounting details, the fear that there just isn’t enough time to do everything that needs to be done, and the overwhelming desire to just get it started — and you have a teacher, especially a new teacher.
The following sketches don’t even begin to do these “givers” justice. With the community’s support they could unleash such potential.
New at RCES
The Elementary School welcomes 12 new faces and some are very familiar.
Joining the first grade team is Marilyn Gozzo who has been a teacher for 11 and-a-half years, nine years in the elementary grades and two and a half in preschool. Mrs. Gozzo received her B.S. from George Mason University. Her oldest daughter is in first grade this year and thinks it’s okay that she’ll have someone else for
