I am 84 years old and I
believe that this is the worst drought we have ever had in this area since the 30’s Depression. I have had about 12 different springs to go dry on my farm this year and last year.
During the past week three springs have dried up which did not go dry in the 30’s drought. Also, wells are going dry in the area.
I well remember those days when there was not much or no improved pasture. We relied on broom sedge pasture, which gave us some grazing in dry weather,
