Rev. and Mrs. Michael Hager and Evangelist and Mrs. Roger Hatfield from the Indian Creek Association of Regular Baptists in West Virginia were here last weekend attending the Ketocton Associational Meeting held at Black Oak Regular Baptist Church.
J.R. Hawkins celebrated his 13th birthday on Aug. 15 and was given a party on Saturday at the home of his parents, Billy and Teresa Hawkins with family and friends attending. The group enjoyed games, snacks, cake and ice cream.
Joining in on the celebration were Shirley Hitt of Castleton, J.R.’s grandparents, Pastor and Mrs. Milton Switzer, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Riley, Bryan, Josh and David, all of Castleton, Mrs. Tracy Eisemman, Davis, Zach and Allen David of Rixeyville, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Burke of Culpeper, Michele Dodson and Kenny of Flint Hill, Andrea and Vallie Hawkins of Orange and J.R.’s grandmother, Mrs. Linda Stone.
Condolences go out to Johnny Summers of Reva and all his family connection upon the loss of his mother, Mrs. Lena Summers, who passed away last Thursday at Culpeper Health Care Center.
Belated wedding anniversary wishes go out to Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peregory, who celebrated another year on Monday.
