The Panther golf team played a 3-way match on Wednesday, Aug. 1,4, at Bowling Green North golf course near Front Royal. Rappahannock recorded its largest margin of victory to date, beating Strasburg by 37 strokes and Clarke County by 49 strokes.
The RCHS team featured two new players this week. The new golfers were freshman Jacob Dodson, who shot an excellent 92, and sophomore Ben Hahn who did very well in his first match, shooting 102.
Mike Fairbrother led the way for the Panthers with an 81, followed by Brian Taylor who shot a 91. Tyler Hartman shot a 113 and Mike Canon
