In her opinion “girls will be more drawn to science (and robots) when they can see the societal good that can come from it.” Jaclyn was glad her team got to work on the search and rescue mission and not on the police action maze that the Quantico team wanted.
This “competition” was new for Jaclyn but not for the other members of the Ice Fragments, the name of the FLL team that she had just joined. They had placed tenth at the second annual FLL National Invitational Event in April and they’re gearing up for a new season.
