August trail

ride slated

The Rappahannock Hunt will continue with its summer trail ride series on Sunday, Aug. 25. The ride will be held at the home of R.J. and Hope Inskeep, Culpeper at 10 a.m. followed by a picnic. Those attending should bring a side dish or dessert.

The rides will be moderately paced with jumps optional. Cost is $15 per rider.

A benefit dinner, dance and silent auction for the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. at the Windrush Farm, Flint Hill.

A group show entitled "The Wonders of Wood” will continue on display at Middle Street Gallery through Sept. 1.
