Musical concert at Bethel The men's chorus from Beulah Baptist Church in Eggbomsville will be in concert on Sunday, Aug. 25 at 3 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church in Amissville. The program will be in memory of Deacon Edward King and Deacon William K. Edwards. Rev. Forrest Freeman is pastor of Bethel Baptist and Deacon William Parker is the sponsor of this event. The proceeds will benefit the Cemetery Club. Lunch will be served following the morning service.

Concert planned Several area churches will be joining together to provide a "Glory to God" concert on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Wright Way Ranch in Rappahannock. This is a free, all day event for the entire family. For more details call Thom at 937-7755 or Corinna at 349-1423. Those attending should bring lawn chairs and a picnic lunch.
