duce some family members to each other. We all forget names of people we haven’t seen in a while. So be prepared for introductions by having a pretty table with markers, name tags, and a guest book for everyone to sign.
To keep the children entertained, set up an inviting art table with baskets of paper, crayons, paints and brushes and encourage them to draw pictures of Grandma and Grandpa or any other favorite relative. Run a clothesline and hang each masterpiece for all to see.
No matter the size or scale of your reunion, have fun with it and don’t forget to take lots of pictures. There is always one shutterbug in every family, so enlist his or her help to capture all of the spontaneous fun. After all, the best advertisement for next year’s reunion would be a nice newsletter to the family chock full of pictures and stories from your most recent gathering.
