The Women of Faith Conference in Washington D.C. this past weekend was an awesome experience. There were 15,000 women from all. over the east coast at the MCI Center; the 13 women that went from Amissville had a great time. I went and it was truly an excellent time. Next year the Conference will be June 27 and 28, start planning now to go and you will be enriched.
The Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. They will be publishing an anniversary book to be available October 19. For more information or to have your business included, contact Paul Poling at 937-5205.
