Norman reunion scheduled
The annual Norman reunion will be held on Aug. 25 at the Rappahannock Park on US 211 near Washington. All relatives and fnends are invited. Those attending should bnng a coverec dish and a beverage. Lunch be served around 1 p.m. at the pavilion. “Come and lets have a good time." said a family spokesperson.
Classes now forming
Pottery classes are now forming for children, teens and adults at Sperryville Pottery located at 42 Main Street in Sperryville. For additional information or to register call 987-1000.
Drama classes to begin
The Rainbow Bridge—Rappahannock Youth Theatre will sponsor after school drama classes beginning the week of Sept. 3 at Ki Theatre in Washington. Classes for children 5-11 will be held on Tuesdays from 4 to 5:15 p.m. and for children 12 and teenagers classes will be held on Friday from 4 to 5:15 p.m. School bus transportation will be available from Rappahannock Elementary and High School. Cost will be $85 or $60 for members of The Rainbow Bndge—Rappahannock Youth Theatre. Scholarships are available upon request. For additional information contact Jean Elizabeth at 987-9727.
Polo activities at Bleu Rock
The summer polo schedule is currently underway at Bleu Rock Farms and will run through Aug. 31. Each Saturday night the Bleu Rock Polo team will host a three-goal game. If you have a three-goal team and would like to challenge the Bleu Rock team, you’re invited.
Other polo events include learn to play polo every Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Horses will be provided: beginning riders are welcome, $75 covers the lesson, dinner and a beverage. Bring a friend to dinner for only $20.
On Thursday, “Bring your own horse”: $20 gets you practice chukkers from 6 to 8 p.m. and includes dinner on the terrace and a beverage. Bring a friend to dinner for only $20.

Beahms to host reunion
The George Washington and Nancy Bolen Beahm will be held on Sunday, Sept. 1 at the Rappahannock Park near Washington. Bring along a covered dish to share and your favorite beverage. Paper goods will be provided. The gathering will begin at 11 a.m., with lunch being served at noon followed by a program.
Yoga with Lilo
Do you want to be more flexible and feel better physically as well as mentally? If so, join “Yoga with Lilo." The annual family reunion of the late Henry T. Whorton and Lillie M. Cloud Whorton will be held at the Rappahannock Park near Washington on Saturday, Sept. 7. Family and friends are invited to come and bring along a picnic lunch.
