focus on Sperryville

Sperryville area residents are encouraged to participate in RappFLOW’s January 18 meeting at our headquarters next to the Old Schoolhouse building. We will discuss stream buffers in the Sperryville area, in preparation for our 2007 program to assist landowners in improving vegetation along the streams. to spin and weave

Spinning on Jan. 18, 1 to 4 p.m. at our studio in Amissville. Learn to spin a single and a 2-ply yarn on both spinning wheel and handspindle. Lots of fibers to play with. Bring your own wheel or use one of ours! Class fee: $35. Weaving on Saturday 10-4 p. m. Great for beginners or those who need help with warping. Our fast method of warping is easy and fun. Design a project, warp the loom and weave a beautiful scarf to take home! Class fee: $100. Includes all materials, use of looms, and lunch.
