A preliminary hearing for longtime Rappahannock County resident and environmental activist Hunt Harris, who is accused of armed robbery, is scheduled for Jan. 18 in Spotsylvania County.

Harris, who works as executive director of the Ragged Mountain Resource Center in Sperryville, is accused of a robbery that took place at a Virginia ABC store on Oct. 26 in Fredericksburg.
