Power lines downed
A single vehicle accident broke a power pole in Flint Hill early Wednesday morning causing Highway 522 to be closed in both directions. Power crews worked steadily to remove power lines from the road, as the members of the Rappahannock Sheriff’s Office helped detour traffic. The driver was only slightly injured and declined to be taken to the hospital. Virginia State Trooper Brandon Johnson was handling the scene but declined to comment.
