The students then answered questions about class size (500 to 12), financial aid (there are so many scholarships available), grading (some teachers use a curve and others don’t, some professors won’t give any A’s because of grade inflation), food (students at the same school ranked the food “awful” and “fine”), and other topics. The seniors stayed longer to chat with the graduates; college is only eight months away for the seniors!
The Silver
Bucket Game
On the 26th of December, Wakefield Country Day School celebrated the Silver Bucket Game, a long-standing tradition when the alumni return to WCDS to play the varsity basketball teams. This year the players for the alumni far outnumbered the varsity players, so fatigue was not an issue, and the alumni won, 52 to 40, unlike last year which went to two overtimes.
