Restaurant
An employee of the Thornton River Grille reported on January 6 that $500 in cash and several credit card receipts had been stolen. The money was inside small black folders and stacked under the receptionist desk near the entrance. According to the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s report, the money appeared to have been stolen by a customer, not an employee. The incident happened between the hours of 2:30 and 3:00 p.m.

Highway 522
A caller reported on January 5 that a man had parked his truck on the side of highway 522 and was urinating next to it. The incident occurred at about 3:00 p.m. The RCSO was unable to locate him from the description of the vehicle.
