Mr. and Sirs. Kermit Weakley and their friends Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Pfalzgraf and the Pfalzgrafs sonm-Uiw and daughter Mr. and Mrs. James Harrover from Fairview Beach, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Timms of Placid Bay and Guy Shepherd of Lorton camped from Thursday until Monday at Jess Rocks, home of Mrs. Jesse Curtis in the Fort Valley.
Gibson Wharton says his wife Christine is recuperating nicely at home land they really appreciate the acts of kidness shown them since Christine has been sick.
Richard Simmons returned home on Tuesday after being a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital for seven days.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Slack of Baltimore, Md. were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark and family and on Friday night attended the Capping and Commitment Ceremony at Piedmont Technical Center School of Practical Nursing in which Edna Kay (Edie) Eastham was a first year student.
Other members of the family who attended were Robert L. Frazier, Mr. and Mrs. Richie Eastham, Mrs. Sarah Brown and daughter Amanda and John R. Eastham of Front Royal. Edie Eastham is the Clark’s granddaughter. Two other ladies of

“Give - That Others May Live” is the theme of a special Memorial Day emphasis of the Rappahannock Unit of the American Cancer Society.
“Making a contribution to the So‘ ciety’s Memorial Fund is a fitting and practical way to help save the living and commemorate a loved one who has died of cancer or other cause,” said Mrs. F. W. Spalding, Memorial Gift Chairman.
She noted that contributions to the American Cancer Society, including Memorial Gifts, go toward saving lives in the present and in the future through coordinated programs of Research, Education and Service.
Mrs. Spalding explained that the Rappahannock Unit sends a memorial card to the family of the person in whose memory the gift is made and also sends an acknowledgment to the donor.
