U.S. Senator Paul Trible announced that he will host a Political Planning Conference in Richmond on Saturday, June 6. Senate Republican Leader Bob Dole, R-Kansas, will deliver the keynote address and Senator Steve Symms, R-Idaho, will address the luncheon.
“The purpose of this conference is to focus on the elections in 1987, 1988 and 1989, as well as review what happened in 1986. I hope the conference will inform our leadership about today’s electorate and offer strategies for winning in the ’80’s,” Sen. Trible said.
The day-long conference will be held at the Omni Hotel. Along with the speeches by Sen. Dole and Sen. Symms, there will be panel discussions on a variety of topics.
