received a bachelor of arts degree from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg during graduation exercises held May 14. Miss Brown is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Edward Brown of Woodville.
The Rappahannock Historical Society will hold its annual meeting Monday, June 6, at 8 p.m. in the courthouse at Washington. At this time officers for the coming year will be elected. All interested persons are urged to attend.
