LFCC graduation
set for May 30
Two hundred and seventy-one students will be graduating and four medallions of recognition from the College Board will be awarded at the sixteenth commencement exercises at Lord Fairfax Community College. The program will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 30 at the College. The public is invited to attend.
The Honorable D. French Slaughter Jr., Congressman from the Seventh District of Virginia, will be the guest speaker and Reverend Darrell W. Waller, of the Winchester Church of God, will give the invocation and benediction.
Mr. Thomas J. Grady, Chairman of the Lord Fairfax Community College Board, will present Medallions of Recognition to four honorees. Recipients of the medallions will be The Honorable D. French Slaughter Jr., commencement speaker; Mrs. Jane
