The seasonal boat launching/parking permit allows boaters a season of low-cost access to boatlaunching ramps at Lake Anna, Smith Mountain Lake, Westmoreland (Potomac River), Seashore (Chesapeake Bay/Atlantic Ocean), York River, Occoneechee (Buggs Island Lake), and Staunton River State Parks for only $30.

A seasonal swimming pass will make the state parks’ seven swimming beaches and five swimming pools a cool bet for the hot summer.

Golden Age Passports are available free of charge to all Virginia residents 62 or older. They entitle the bearer free entry to any state park which normally charges an admission or parking fee. Golden Age Passports may be obtained by applying in person at any Virginia State Park or at the Division of Parks and , Recreation Office in Richmond.

For more information about any Virginia State Parks programs, dates and hours of operation, directions, or a free color brochure describing the activities the parks can offer, write Virginia Division of Parks and Recreation, 1X01 Washington Building, Capitol Square, Richmond, Va. 2S219, or call (80+) 786-1712.
