After a tour of the county’s
old jail last Friday with officials from the State Department of Corrections, the Rappahannock supervisors indicated that they will consider both renovation and an extension to the rear of the building as options for bringing the facility up to minimum jail standards. Several members of the board are interested in taking a look at moving the sheriffs offices to the building as well.
Wakefield School’s annual Spring Horse and Pony Show will be held May 29 at the 4-H
