own admission, I was judged on the basis of another right-of-way case, namely that of Diane Kidwell. The outcome of that right-ofway case was lenient; therefore mine was set to be harsh as an example.
To quote Judge Foley: “The court is concerned that Rappahannock County is. becoming fampui t - or infamous*'* fbr itS’Y^t-df^ * \ way disputes.” Let my.case be ■ judged on its own merits alone. Don’t compare a murder case to my case where no one was hurt. Judge Foley as a brand new judge on the bench has a desire to impress the rest of the legal community as a judge to be feared and respected.
Are such politics justice? I say no. A man may live in harmony with his fellowman and protect his property in this county at the same time and if that’s being an outlaw, I guess I am one - but I will say one thing - I am not a thief - take it for what it’s worth.
