The Middle Street Gallery Artists’ Cooperative will be among the exhibitors, and three original works of art will be offered as part of a fundraiser for the non-profit organization. “Lillies,” stained glass by Patti Mullans; a colored-pencil drawing by Robin Purnell titled ‘Tea Study;” and a watercolor by Dan Lewis of “Chicory and Thistles” were donated by the artists.

As you stroll down Main Street, be sure to catch Carson Johnson’s wreath-making demonstrations at Jefferson House, as well as the first anniversary open house at Spring House Antiques. There will be a fresh strawberry sale, folk art painting and Ann Granger, a wheat weaver, also doing demonstrations . on Sunday.

At Zib’s Toy Box, they’re celebrating a Grand Opening. Zibbo the Clown will be greeting guests at the door, and there will be helium balloons for the kids.

And Thornton Crossing, also on Main Street, is opening for the season as well. They’ll -have funnel cakes - a festival favorite - as well as natural strawberry and banana Both thirst quenchers.

On your way into town, or back home, be sure to stop at Craft Smith, about two miles east of Sperryville on Rt. 211. A varied selection of handcrafted gifts will be displayed.
