William C. Chase Jr. says he will be more available to the voters than State Sen. Kevin G. Miller.
“It’s a matter of accessibility — that’s the biggest reason why I’ve gotten in,” said Mr. Chase, explaining why he is challenging the incumbent Republican for the 26th Legislative District seat. “The counties haven’t had any input. We always thought in terms of who is our delegate, but that’s ridiculous, because we have a senator, too ... I don’t know whether it’s arrogance or indifference, but something makes the man unresponsive,” Mr. Chase said of Sen. Miller.
