The conference program will include sessions on helping volunteer leaders learn how to deal with some of the major concerns facing youngsters in today's society. It will include workshops on suicide indicators, rapidly changing sexual mores and consequences, and substance abuse.
To help the leaders in developing community programs, there also will be workshops on heritage programs, mi clowning as a community service project, and on projecting a dub’s public image.
Registration for the fall conference is |80, but volunteers may attend individual sessions at a reduced rate. For Friday and Saturday, the fee is $10, while the Saturday only fee is |6. No meals are induded in the partial registrations. -A
