Although Del. Guest’s name has been mentioned repeatedly about one of the Republican contenders for the governorship in 1989, he said he’s made no decision about a run for that office.
Does he have a timetable in mind for that decision? “November 1989 is the deadline,” he chuckled.
“We’ve got to get through the 1988 General Assembly session” before looking into that possibility, he said. “I'm open to suggestions. As I travel around the state, campaigning for other candidates, I’m listening. I’ve made a lot of new friends.”
