“If the county is going to build, where are we going to build?” asked Supervisor Newbill Miller. “Where is a lot the county owns that we can put this building on?” The open land in the courthouse complex is already being used as septic drainfields for existing offices, he said. “If it was any place but behind the bus shop, it would infringe upon the athletic fields,” Supervisor Nelson Lane countered.
