The trail riders of Rappahannock

will meet this Sunday, October 29, at John and Patty Alexander’s, Fodderstack Road, Flint Hill, Route 628, for a ride to Skyline Drive by way of the Mt. Marshall fire road. The colorful fall foliage is due to peak this weekend and will make for a beautiful ride.

Cadet Douglas K. Baumgardner, of Washington, is one of 22 seniors at the Virginia Military Institute to be named to the current issue of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.” Cadet Baumgardner was graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Alexandria before entering VMI. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Baumgardner of Washington.
