Regional director John Einerson. wants the supervisors to build new offices for the crowded Rappahannock County Health Department. But the supervisors, facing increasing revenue demands for education and solid waste disposal, prefer that the search continue for rental property to ease the space crunch.
At October’s board meeting, Dr. Einerson reported that the state’s evaluating team found the Rappahannock offices “unacceptable” in 1984. “Now we’re even more crowded,” he said.
The evaluating team’s main criticism is that “the facility doesn’t lend itsfclf to efficient processing of clinic patients.” Primary needs center on another examining room and a waitiitg room for patients, he told the supervisors.
