the park each day. All other activities, such as camping, are suspended at False Cape during the hunt. Game management in False Cape State Park is controlled and prescribed by the Virginia Game Department.
All Virginia State Park campgrounds are open until Monday, Dec. 1. In addition, primitive camping is available to hunters at Bear Creek Lake, Holliday Lake, Occoneechee and Twin Lakes State Parks through the end of deer season. Hunting is available in the state forests surrounding Bear Creek Lake, Holliday Lake and Twin Lakes State Parks. A $5 state forest hunting permit is needed.
