Can a soldier be influenced by the women in his life? Historian John Devine will examine this question as part of his presentation on “Robert E. Lee, The Man and the Soldier,” at the meeting of the Rappahannock Historical Society Nov. 5 beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Rappahannock County Courthouse in Washington.
