workshop set
4-H volunteer leaders from around the state will learn about new programs that are designed to help their clubs at the annual Virginia Association of Adult 4-H Volunteer Leaders workshop Friday and Saturday, Oct. 30 and 31, at the Holiday Inn-Airport.
Theme for the program is "Come and Wish Upon a Star," said Doris Carpenter of Great Falls, association president.
Keynote speaker at the conference will be Donald L. Stormer, deputy administrator for 4-H with the Extension Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). He will speak at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 80. Mr. Stormer was state 4-H leader in
