A report on examination of
accounts and financial records of Rappahannock County for the year ending June 30,1970 was a major item on the agenda of the meeting of the local Board
of Supervisors Thursday. The audit, handled by Daniel A. Robinson & Associates of Charlottesville, was accompanied by a statement which said, in part, “the results of the audit indicated that the affairs of the
county generally were well administered during the year, and^ the books and records found to be in good order. The examination disclosed that the Treasurer had made proper accounting for all funds of record coming into his custody.”
Airman James E. Kilby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill W. Timbers of Woodville, has completed basic training at Lackland AFB, Texas. He has been assigned to Chanute AFB. 111., for training in aircraft maintenance.
