Whether playing Beethoven or Paganini, a polonaise or an elegie on her 300-year-old cello, her musical sensitivity and total technical mastery have enchanted audiences around the world.

During her tours of the United States and Europe as a recitalist, as soloist with orchestra and in chamber ensemble, Mary Fraley has received many accolades. The music critic of the Berlin paper, Die Welt, found her ensemble playing to be a “model of elegance,” while her recital in Washington was praised by the Washington Post for its “flair, and dashing musicality.”

Notable among her many recent performances have been recitals at the Phillips Collection in Washington, and at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, S.C.
