A new Virginia law requires that all real estate agents, both active and inactive, complete six hours of a state-prescribed continuing education course. The training must be completed prior to the expiration of their current license.
Officials of the Real Estate Board in Richmond report that many agents are not aware of this requirement and that they should take action to complete the required six hours as soon as possible. The six hour course covers recent developments in real estate law and related subjects.
